In the United States and Canada, a cookie is a small, flat-baked treat, containing milk, flour, eggs, and sugar, etc. In most English-speaking countries outside North America, the most common word for this is biscuit; in many regions both terms are used, while in others the two words have different meanings—a cookie is a plain bun in Scotland, while in the United States a biscuit is a kind of quick bread similar to a scone.

What makes softbaked cookies get hard when stale but crisp cookies go soft?
Q. And why do they taste so bad? I like a soft baked cookie, but not when it gets crisp. Likewise I like crisp cookies but not when they get soft. Even if it's the same kind of cookie (ie., chocolate chip). Is it a mind over matter thing? Is it the same ingredient that is affected in either kind of cookie?

How do I completely remove tracking cookies from my computer?
Q. Since I had the Trojan clicker, I have had many tracking cookies. Now that I'm aware of the virus, I scan my computer everyday. I have got rid of my Trojan from my system32 folder, but I still have a very large amount of tracking cookies. I scan my computer one day and delete them. About 10 minutes or so, I scan my computer again. The same amount and same types of tracking cookies appear again. It seems as if I can not get rid of them. I am using AVG Anti-Virus Free version.
